As a professional actress and a qualified teacher, supply teaching currently plays a significant role in my life. It allows me to continue teaching, continually gaining more and more experience in a variety of schools, whilst also providing me with the essential flexibility required to pursue my acting career. I still hugely enjoy teaching and one can probably quickly appreciate the transferrable skills in these two professions! There can be long periods between acting work and I rely on supply teaching as my source of income.
