Cycling

London Cycle Guide Cycling is an increasingly viable way to get around London. The London Cycle Network is a scheme introduced the Mayor of London to encourage more cycling.

There is currently over 500 miles of cycle track stretching across London and while long journeys are probably a bit ambitious, cycling is a great way to cover shorter distances quickly, cheaply and healthily. There are a range of maps for sale that cover the cycle routes for the whole of London.  Visit the London Cycling Campaign website for more information.

If you enjoy cycling for pleasure there are a number of places you can hire bikes for the day such as www.londonbicycles.com.
