At various times throughout history London has been considered the music capital of the world. From the days of the classical masters through to the swinging 60’s when the Beatles were based at Abbey Road and the Rolling Stones wanted to 'Paint it Black’. Then the 90s saw another sound explosion as the world was gripped by Brit-pop and Cool Britannia. The biggest bands in the world were British, Oasis, Blur, Manic Street Preachers and not forgetting the incomparable Spice Girls. The current music scene is no less vibrant and innovative with bands like the Kaiser Chiefs, the Kooks, Robbie Williams and ColdPlay blazing a funky trail.
