The Beautiful Game

Football is the national sport of England, and as such it should come as no surprise that there are dozens of proffessional teams based in London. There are currently seven London football teams in the Premiership. The cream of these are Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham but don't expect to get tickets for many of their games as they tend to be sold out before they go on sale. You would probably be more likely to get tickets to one of the smaller teams, who depsite their size lack none of the atmosphere or passion of their bigger, wealthier contemporaries. Check out the BBC website for information about football in London and the UK.
