As you may know TimePlan attended the annual Toast Festival on the weekend of 26th, 27th and 28th September. Toast is a celebration of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa and this year was held at London’s Kensington Olympia. This year TimePlan gave away over 60 free tickets for teachers to enjoy the festivities! TimePlan staff from our Surrey, HBB and London offices handed out free candy floss to thousands of revellers over the three days. TimePlan also joined forces with Contiki to offer a prize draw of £250 Contiki travel vouchers for people who registered their details with us over the three days. Congratulations to the lucky winner, Janine Hall. Along with enjoying free candy floss, festival goers were entertained by talented musicians from all three countries. Friday saw the legendary Australian Jimmy Barnes belt out his timeless classics to a very appreciative crowd. On Saturday Supergroove provided New Zealanders with a chance put on their dancing shoes. And on Sunday Just Ginger got the crowd pumping to the beat of their drums. The Toast Festival also gave people the chance to indulge in antipodean food, wines and beers. There were many smiles as people enjoyed Cherry Ripes, Perky Nanas and biltong throughout the festival. All up we had an excellent time over the three days. The Toast Festival gave us the chance to catch up with many of our existing teachers and also enabled us to meet some new teachers who were excited to come on board with TimePlan.
