The Oxford & Cambridge Boat Race
What is it? A traditional rowing race between Oxford & Cambridge University. It started in 1829 and is now an annual event.
When? Saturday 4 April at 4:30pm
Where? Starts at Putney Bridge and finishes at Chiswick Bridge

St. Georges Day
What is it? England's national day which honours St Goerge, the country's patron Saint.
When? 23 April
Where? Various celebrations across the city including a free concert in Trafalgar Square
